Kenya Airways to Resume Flights!

Kenya Airways has scheduled a flight from Amsterdam to Nairobi Tuesday (20th April) in a move that is likely to bring some hope to stranded passengers.

KQ’s marketing and corporate affairs manager Dick Omondi told the Nation this morning the flight will depart for the Kenyan capital at 5 p.m. local time.

There would be other updates throughout Tuesday as the airline monitors the situation, he said.

Likoni Ferry

The two new ferries that Mombasa and South coast residents have been waiting for, finally arrived this morning, 2nd June 2010.

The vessel carrying the ferries, Mv Beluga Singapore was ushered through the Likoni channel by excited commuters Wednesday as coxswains steering three older models hooted in response to the huge vessel’s call.

This is a boost to the desperate situation that was affecting South coast tourism. The vessels – Mv Likoni and Mv Kwale – have a capacity of 1,500 passengers and 60 cars. Here at LetsGoKenya, we can only say "Karibu"!!!
